Almond Brittle - Lisa
Powell - ETP's Good Phriend
3 1/2 sticks real butter (no subtitutes)
2 c sugar 1 1/2 c slivered almonds
Cook to soft crack stage and add: 1 1/2 c.
slivered almonds. Cook to hard crack stage. It will turn
caramel color. Pour onto a pan with foil on it. I use a
cookie sheet with a lip on it. Spread it pretty thin.
When it cools, break into pieces and store in an air tight container.
